Plant-based food tech pioneer STARFIELD from China has kicked off the new year with the launch of a series of plant-based crisps. The new snacks will gradually roll out to over 1,000 stores nationwide through a partnership with a leading yogurt brand. Featuring multiple promotional discounts, the product offers consumers a delightful, nutritious, and budget-friendly snacking option.
The newly launched lineup features three distinct categories, comprising six innovative products tailored to meet the increasing demand for sustainable and health-conscious snacks.
STARFIELD Bagel Crisps deliver a perfectly crisp texture through baked not fired, and boast health-conscious benefits. Free from trans fats, artificial flavors, colorings, and preservatives, they are available in three flavors—Whole Wheat Chia Seed, Honey Butter, and Garlic—catering to a variety of taste preferences.
Inspired by the rising popularity of alkaline bread, STARFIELD Alkaline Bread Crisps are cut into bite-sized cubes, dried, and enhanced with a unique caramel sea salt flavor. These trans-fat-free snacks can be enjoyed as a stand-alone snack, or paired well with yogurt, oats, and other breakfast or afternoon tea options, offering versatility across various consumption scenarios.
Meanwhile, made from natural, fresh beetroot and peas, STARFIELD Beetroot and Pea Crisps leverage advanced vacuum-frying technology to preserve the natural flavors and nutrients of the ingredients. Packed with dietary fiber and free from preservatives, they deliver a satisfying crunch and a guilt-free snacking experience.
Founded in 2019, STARFIELD was initially gained widespread acclaim for its plant-based meat products. Today, however, STARFIELD’s product portfolio extends far beyond meat alternatives. While establishing a strong foothold in foodservice channels with its plant-based beef, chicken, pork and seafood, STARFIELD has expanded into the snack category. In recent years, the company has launched a range of plant-based snacks, including Poki Salad Bar and Seaweed Tofu, which have already secured spots in renowned offline retailers such as Sam’s Club and FamilyMart in China.
To date, STARFIELD has collaborated with over 100 leading brands, including major restaurants, cafes, and third-party retailers across the country.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new range of plant-based snacks,”said STARFIELD’s product manager. “And we’ll continue to diversify our product offerings while focusing on our mission to deliver healthy, delicious, and sustainable products accessible to everyone.”
